The Bonner Community Food Bank, located in Standpoint, Idaho, along with eight other groups in the area, gave away lake trout and whitefish that were caught at Lake Pend Oreille.

The fish were given away to the region’s low-income households without the warning that pregnant women and children should eat just one montly meal of lake trout and just four monthly meals of whitefish.

The question really is, should people go hungry or experience some mercury problems.  Your thoughts?
