<p>Women in general who had a high intake of calcium were at a overall reduced risk of various cancers.</p>
<p>The author of the comprehensive study, Dr. Yikyung Park, stated, “Our key finding is that higher total calcium intake is associated with a decreased risk of digestive system cancers.&#8221;</p>
<p>“Our study is just one study,&#8221; she added. &#8220;We need to look to other studies to confirm the finding.”</p>
