China has announced that there has now been three deaths caused by bird flu this year.
The most recent case was when as 16-year-old made student in central China died Tuesday of the H5N1 virus.
“(Investigations) found the patient had come in contact with birds that had died from sickness before he fell ill,” the Chinese Hunan Health Bureau stated.
These deaths come after a year of no bird flu cases in the area.
