A nationwide recall of peanut butter sold by Parnell’s Pride and the King Nut Company is underway, as the number of individuals exposed to the salmonella-contaminated product rose to 425 in now 43 states.
Sadly, the first possible deaths related to the salmonella outbreak have been released. Five people have died in the last week who may have been affected by the outbreak. The names and hometowns of those individuals have not yet been released as officials look deeper into the causes of their deaths.
