Tobacco companies are asking the federal appeals court to reverse or amend a ruling two years ago against cigarette makers.
The law army on call for the big tobacco companies have asked the federal judges to overturn the ruling the industry received stating that they deceived the public for years about the risks of smoking.
Attorneys state that unless this ruling is overturn, they could continue to be bombarded by smokers’ lawsuits.
