$33.6 million in nine months. That’s the amount of money funneled through a single on-line pharmacy. Two Doctors have now been indicted due to approving prescriptions without seeing anyone in person.

Prosecutors said more people could be charged in the case. They said five doctors approved more than 350,000 prescriptions from September 2003 to May 2004.
For those who have seen such sites - it’s a simple process to order (often at discount prices) any form of prescription medication. Many of the popular drugs sold are weight loss medications such as phentermine or adipax.
