Apparently the FDA has done some scientific studies and has officially decided Green Tea doesn’t stop cancer or keep the free world safe for democracy, and neither do Green Tea extract pills…
…the rest of us will have to drink it because we just plain like tea.
That’s too bad about the cancer-fighting claims. Still, I have to assume green tea remains a good and healthy choice because of the EGCG antioxidants it contains. Fights inflammation, protects the heart, etc. Tasty, too.
I’m actually a bit bummed about it too, but the anti-oxidants alone are worth the drinking, and tea is in general a much safer caffeine delivery system than diet pepsi which I’m way too addicted to
