This workout is a hard-to-explain injury just waiting to happen.
can you clarify why?
There is no way you’re going be able to keep proper form while both biking and lifting. A stationary bike is not set up to give you the appropriate support for weight lifting even while you’re sitting still; the fact that you’re pedaling at the same time means that you’re practically garaunteed to pull a muscle or otherwise injur yourself.
And the “as many reps as you can in a minute” approach goes against everything I’ve ever heard or read about strength exercise. It leads to terrible form, makes inury more likely, and won’t evenly work your muscles the way a slow, controlled pace will.
…as for the “hard-to-explain” part, I’m referring to the incredulous look on your doctor’s face when you start explaining “…well doc, I was just riding my exercise bike while lifting weights, and…”
