A bunch of web comic artists are all working on losing weight at the Biggest Web Comic Loser.

They are blogging their progress, often including funny drawings of the process.

All of the participants are taking money for UNICEF and are using this both as a motivation for themselves, and as a way of getting money for charity. Two sets of motivating goals, and two very good results.
