The NYT has an article about good nutrition being linked to good society, where Dr. Hibbeln at the NIH is arguing that the more omega-3 fatty acids consumed the lower the murder rates.
An interesting correlation… though I wonder if it’s like the link between number of TVs in a nation and the life expectancy of the inhabitants. A society that has people that can afford TVs in almost every household also has a higher standard of living.
